How long before I can create character again? - Guild Wars Forums

I have two accounts, and on the alt account I deleted a character so I can use it on my main one.

My question is- how long do I have to wait before I can remake it?

It's been a good 12 hours. And no one has stolen the name, as if I add my character to my friends list it says you can't add yourself

That's odd because, I've made chars, deleted them within 3 min. Then remade them with just a diff look. Perhaps because that's on the same account?

Yeah the name's reserved for the account so you can reuse a name like you or the OP did/are doing.

The name is reserved for the same account it was deleted via, yes.

The name is tied down to the ACCOUNT it was originally created on for 24 hours. You can use the name infinitely on the same account over and over as much as you like but if you want the name on a different account you must wait the 24 hours before it is freed up.
